Unified Analysis Workshop

The next Unified Analysis Workshop will be held in Paris, France during July 10-12, 2017. 

 
This is the week following the IGS Workshop and like the IGS Workshop will be hosted by the Institut National de l’Information Géographique et Forestière (IGN) and held at the University of Paris-Diderot (15 rue Hélène Brion 75013 Paris).
 
As in the past, this is not an open workshop but attendance will be by invitation only. Each of the IAG Services, as well as GGOS, are asked to select about 5 to 6 experts to participate in the Workshop. It is hoped that the Analysis Coordinators will be one of the delegates from each Service. The Service Chairs and Central Bureau Directors are also welcome, of course, and do not count towards the limit of 5-6 experts from each Service.

(1) List of Delegates to the Workshop from your Service (can be preliminary).
(2) Comments on the draft topics to be discussed at the Workshop (see below).

(4) Any other remarks you may have.

in order to start the discussion of the program.
It will change in response to your comments.
Not all of the topics listed here will necessarily
be discussed at the UAW. And some of the
suggested topics are included in order to
stimulate / re-invigorate activity in that area.
 
(1) Data and Products of Services
Technique biases and systematic errors
     SLR range biases
     GNSS antenna patterns
     VLBI antenna deformation
     Timing biases
Model improvements
     Mean pole
     Time variable gravity fields
     Subdaily tides including S1/S2
 
(2) Combined Data and Products
At SINEX level
At observation level
Possible new combined products
Combined atmospheric products
 
(3) Reference Systems and Frames
Limitations of current approaches to frame determination
     Joint TRF/CRF/EOP determination
Limitations of data and products used to determine frames
     Geocenter, scale from GNSS, DORIS
Co-location of techniques in space
     Inclusion of existing space co-location data
Unified height system
 
(4) Standards, Conventions, and Formats
Metadata
SINEX format extensions
     Inclusion of radio source positions
     Inclusion of loading parameters (VLBI)
